YOUNGSTOWN, OH (February 17, 2024): Opera Western Reserve will hold open chorus auditions from 6:00pm-9:00pm on April 17, 2024 at the DeYor Performing Arts Center for the Main Stage Production of Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata.  The performance date for this production is November 22, 2024 at 7:30pm in Powers Auditorium located at the DeYor Performing Arts Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Chorus rehearsals are scheduled to begin in late September 2024. The details pertaining to the auditions are as follows.

Performance Date: November 22, 2024 at 7:30pm
Rehearsal Start: Late September 2024
Seeking: All vocal types

Those wishing to audition should be prepared to perform one Italian Art song from the $24 Italian Songs and Arias” song book. More information can be found at operawesternreserve.com/audition.

OWR encourages performers of all races, ethnicities, gender identities and expressions, ages, abilities, and body types to audition. All principal and supporting role contracts are paid. Selected chorus ensemble leader positions are paid.
